VegaSwap is a cryptocurrency trading platform built by VegaWallet and our partners where professional brokers and everyday traders can easily trade several major digital assets. VegaSwap was built securely and is protected by the latest state-of-the-art vault technology to ensure your portfolio remains safe.
To create an account on VegaSwap, click "Trade Now" on our main navigation bar. You can create an account with your email address and a secure password. You will then be mandated to enact two-factor authentication.
Two-factor authentication, otherwise known as 2FA, ensures that we can add an extra layer of security to your VegaSwap account. 2FA for VegaSwap accounts is not an optional feature and must be enabled to perform trades on our platform. Instructions are given during verification of the registration process.
Our referral program is active and rewards traders who draw more users to our platform. You can invite friends and affiliates to trade on VegaSwap with unique links given to you via your dashboard. You will be eligible to receive up to 50% of their trading fees as a reward for growing our ecosystem.
After registering for a VegaSwap account you must deposit funds to your account before you can start trading. Onboarding will be available shortly on our exchange but is currently available in our cryptocurrency wallet, VegaWallet, downloadable via links in our footer or main navigation bar. After you have logged into VegaSwap, simply go to your dashboard and select "Deposit". You will then be directed to your cryptocurrency wallet addresses. Send the designated coin or token to this address and you are now set to start trading!
We support many of the industries most popular cryptocurrencies. Some examples are Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, Monero, Ripple, Zcash, and our very own VegaWallet Token!
We believe in keeping our fees low to promote a healthy trading environment. Our maker/taker fees start at 0.1%, while fees for trades involving the VegaWallet Token (VGW) receive a special trading discount fee of only 0.05%
A user makes a market order through the exchange to buy or sell an investment immediately at the best current available price. Market orders are the default option and most likely to be used because there are no criteria pertaining to time frame or price restrictions on orders.
Limit orders let you decide on which price you would like to buy or sell a certain digital asset. Upon placing this order, it will be added to the order book and will execute when the current market matches up with your criteria.
The order book displays all unfilled and open buy and sell orders. You can place an order for any price and amount listed that is still currently available. This is a good tool to verify market performance.
Any limit orders can be cancelled before they are filled by looking at "My Orders" in the VegaSwap trading interface. Deposits and withdrawals can also be cancelled before their confirmation. Simply go to your transaction history menu from the user dashboard. Locate the unconfirmed order you would wish to cancel then confirm you would like to cancel it.
Withdraws can be sent from your VegaSwap account dashboard. Select the currency you wish to withdraw, then enter the wallet address you wish to send the designated balance to.
Withdraws from the VegaSwap platform are processed almost instantly to ensure an excellent user experience. Please ensure the designated amount and withdraw wallet address are entered correctly in order to avoid any delays. We can not retrieve amounts sent to the wrong addresses.
